Benjamin Rick, co-founder of SASC, has today stepped down as CEO.
SASC was founded in 2012 by Ben and Adam Knight. Ben and Adam believed that there were many charities in the UK that could do more to support disadvantaged people if they had access to the right kind of finance. Over the last eleven years, SASC has had the pleasure of working with truly inspirational social sector organisations that helped turn that belief into reality.
Ben would like to thank everyone who supported him on the way – borrowers, investors, team and non-execs – specifically those that went above and beyond to make the things that looked so challenging happen.
Ben is succeeded by Mark Bickford who has led SASC’s investment team and been Deputy CEO since 2018.
