One Small Thing is a charity that works to meet the needs of women in the justice system and their children.
The charity recognises the impact of trauma and promotes healing and hope for the future. It promotes the relief and rehabilitation of prisoners in the UK prison estate, as well as for ex-offenders and people at risk of offending. It delivers gender-responsive and trauma informed trainings within the criminal justice system.
One Small Thing provides community-based centres offering accommodation, specialist services and opportunities to engage in work activities, education and training to women and their children who are in the criminal justice system or at risk of offending or re-offending. SASC supports their Hope Street project.
