The loan coupled with the grant allows Turning Point to purchase a property with at least 6 individual apartments in Manchester. The tenants will benefit from a communal space to act as a resident meeting place and the property will also have a staff office for the 24/7 support workers.

The SASH II funding will provide at least six units of supported accommodation.

There is significant demand for the SASH II-funded units in Manchester. There is a significant gap in the provision of supported accommodation for people with learning disabilities and autism, particularly for those with complex needs that will benefit from the SASH II-funded homes.
